Fresh Glowing Healthy Skin

Yey for good skin days!

Today I'm going to share an awesome beauty remedy with you guys. It's called the 'Fruit Acid Peel'. Hmm, the name sounds a little scary doesn't it? Maybe because we all associate the word 'acid' with 'burning' but don't worry because it actually just gently retextures our skin. I only learnt about the awesomeness of the acid peel remedy several months back but it's already one of my fav beauty remedies.

The best natural exfolients are found in fruit acids. Fruit acids are abundant in AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and they work great for dull sluggish skin. These acids loosen the ...let's say "glue" that holds the surface skin cells together. This allows dead skin cells to fall off to reveal the fresh new healthy skin cells underneath. The result is smoother skin that looks brighter.

Watch the tutorial below:

Benefits of the fruit acid peel:
  • Increases skin cell renewal (allows skin to heal and rejuvenate faster)
  • Unclogs pores (thus making them appear smaller)
  • Fades dark spots and blemishes
  • Reduces blemishes
  • Softens wrinkles & fine lines
  • Improving the overall skin tone
I do the fruit acid peel mask twice a week and I started this several weeks back. Although skin generally feels smoother after first application, obvious results are more visible after a week or two. So don't expect crazy results right away, be patient and persistent. I've noticed my skin looking/feeling more refined and improvement in the texture of my skin. Definitely minimized the fine lines in my forehead for sure. Skincare products also absorb better into my skin as well.

  • Everybody's skin is different so remember you can always adjust the recipe so it fits better with your skin's needs.
  • The recipe has enough for 2-3 applications each time but I personally wouldn't store it in the fridge for more than 2 days.

Hope you guys enjoy this one!
